On this page I write about my buildingproject: HOBO. This is a monoband HF-transceiver. The RIG-kit is sold by the German QRP-AG.
I bought the 20 meter version. The pictures shows it in the building fase.
The photo on the left shows the backside of the rig, the photo in the middle shows also the LC-display and the big dial.
On the photo on the right you see the bacside with all of the necessay holes in it.
On 12 december 2008, I received this nice front! See last photo.
After some modifications I got my first QSO with RK4FAD on 16 march 2009! And that with bad conditions and only 5 Watt power!

Antenne.
I use a coaxial Bazooka wire-dipole. This very cheap antenna does a great job! Download the information and build this antenna by yourself! Thanks to Pa0TLM.
